What we collect, what we do with it, and the two things we will never do. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

1What we collect
From your store: products, variants, costs, orders, order lines, refunds, shipping charges, transaction fees and taxes.
From your ad accounts: campaigns, ad groups, ad sets, ads, keywords, search terms, spend, conversions and change history.
From you: the name and email address on your account, and your billing details, which are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our systems.
We do not collect your customers' personal details. We read the economics of an order, not the person who placed it.
2What we use it for
Working out your true profit, finding wasted spend, and — only where you have switched it on — changing bids, budgets and campaign states inside the limits you set.
Supporting you when you ask us to, and telling you about things that affect your account.
Keeping the service running, secure and billed correctly.
3What we will never do
We will never sell your data.
We will never pass your data to anyone else for their own purposes.
We will never show your numbers to another merchant, in any form that could be traced back to you.
4Anonymous and aggregated information
We do use anonymised, aggregated information — combined across many accounts, with nothing that identifies you, your store or your customers.
We use it for two things. First, to publish overall statistics about the service, such as how many sellers use it or how many products it manages. Second, to measure how well our own rule templates and recommendations perform, so that we can improve them for everyone.
Two limits make this acceptable, and they are absolute. It is never identifiable — no store name, no product name, no figure specific enough to point at one account. And it is never another merchant's to see: aggregated insight improves the product, it does not become a report we hand to your competitor.
5Who else touches it
Only the suppliers we need to run the service: hosting, error monitoring, email delivery and payment processing. Each is bound to use your data only to provide that service to us, and none of them may use it for their own purposes.
We will publish the current list on request. If it changes in a way that matters, we will tell you.
6Where it lives and how long we keep it
Encrypted in transit and at rest. Separation between accounts is enforced in the database itself, not only in the application.
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. Delete your account and we remove it within 30 days, apart from records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.
7Your rights
You can get a copy of everything we hold, correct anything wrong, or have it deleted. You can withdraw our access to your store and ad accounts at any time, from your side, without asking us.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to some processing or to complain to your data protection regulator. We would rather you told us first.
8Cookies
We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
9Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect — not by quietly updating a date at the top of a page.
